The Engineering Manager will:
o Report directly to the VP of Engineering – they have an amazing vision which sits with tripling the engineering organization
o You will be constantly improving team productivity, refining agile processes, and create methods to increase efficiency
o Oversee the day-to-day operations and build multiple engineers inheriting a team of 8.
o Lead the effort of hiring new and outstanding engineers
o Train new software engineers on their best practices, standards, culture, and policies
o Perform personnel management tasks for two teams of developers, including performance reviews, mentoring, and planning each direct report’s career growth
o Actively participate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of their system
o Enforce clean code and excellent coding practices by conducting thoughtful code reviews
o Collaborate closely with Product Managers to meet and exceed customer needs in the simplest possible ways
