WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
The Director of Audit
– Operational Enablement supports the CNB audit teams.
This role provides support for CNB audit operations, regulatory liaison, planning and reporting and works in conjunction with and under the direction of the US IA Operational Enablement Lead.
Position will oversee the development, maintenance and communication of internal audit methodologies, including those specific to CNB, and promote the adoption and adherence across the CNB IA team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Audit OperationsIn coordination with the US IA Operational Enablement Lead and the Global IA COO, coordinate audit operational activities to drive a consistent approach globally, with US/CNB modifications as required, as approved by the US CAE and the COOSupport the development, implementation and maintenance of CNB specific internal audit methodologies, practices, procedures, and common audit programs undertaken for the benefit of the CNB IA team Actively ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and best practice expectations for US financial institution IA functionsMaintain the IA US/CNB Audit ManualKeep current on changes impacting our audit methodologies and practices in the US Actively engage in responses to regulatory requests and reviews across the region, and identify where the US/CNB IA methodology is not aligned with evolving regulatory expectations Assist with the development and delivery of learning programs across the CNB IA team.
- Quality Assurance & Improvement Program (QAIP)Conduct the overall QAIP for CNB.Actively ensure compliance with regulatory, industry and best practice expectations for financial institution IA functionsSupport the QA file reviews for CNB Remediate QA identified gaps Participate in horizontal and topical quality assessments of conformance with processes
- Regulatory LiaisonSupport the Senior Director and US IA Operational Enablement Lead with IA regulatory mattersCompile information to support regulatory requests and queriesMonitor the CNB IA team’s MRA validation activities
- Participate in the audit planning process, including the maintenance of the CNB audit universe, audit plan creation and plan monitoring.
- Support regional Audit Committee and management reporting, ensuring complete and accurate information and reporting of audit activities and issues for CNB.
Support the management of regulatory matters, interactions, requests, issue monitoring and validation.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must-Have*
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 10 years experience in Internal/External Audit for Financial Institutions
- Minimum 7 years of experience in audit theory and practice and regulatory compliance
- CPA
– Certified Public Accountant - CIA-Certified Internal Auditor

- Background/experience with key US regulators
