IT Asset Manager / Specialist
Onsite in Los Angeles, CA
(Contract-to-hire)
Responsibilities:
- Manage, design and develop streamlined processes for IT hardware, software and mobile asset management
- Evaluate and work with vendors to negotiate and renew annual contracts establishing SLAs
- Formulates and implements processes, procedures and systems for tracking and analyzing software, hardware, and equipment from requisition through retirement
- Manage acquisition of IT assets from planning through deployment
- Report to management ITAM/life cycles and resolve conflicts if necessary
- Track entire life-cycle management for each asset in order to maintain warranty information, refresh date, and end of life data information
- Conduct monthly/annual inventory audits and develop process and procedures to ensure accuracy
Requirements:
- Several years of solid enterprise level IT Asset Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or combination of experiences
- Experience in working with a diverse range of IT vendors to negotiate contracts/licenses and warranties
- Familiar in purchasing hardware, software, negotiating licensing renewals and service agreements
- Experience with ITIL and ITSM and/or ServiceNow is highly desired
