GENERAL SUMMARY
Following established policies and department procedures, responsible for screening and interviewing SBA loan applicants, underwriting and servicing SBA Express, Cap Line, and EWCP, as well as SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Screens and interviews SBA loan applicants and make necessary field visits
2. Collects and spreads financial statements and reviews credit reports, appraisals and other required documents
3. Underwrites and presents SBA loan CCR for Bank approval
4. Prepares and submits SBA loan packages to respective SBA Officers for approval
5. Responds to and follows up on SBA District officers’ questions and requests in a timely manner
6. Monitors and manages and assigned loan portfolio
7. Analyzes and prepares loan servicing requests
8. Contacts customers for payment collection and documents efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: College degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred but not
mandatory.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in SBA or Commercial Lending
• Skills/Ability: PC proficient (Word, Excel) and detail oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual in English/Chinese is a plus.
Knowledge in SOP 50 10 and SBA packaging.
