Job Description:
- Perform the accounting, budgeting and monitoring of governmental contracts
- Interpret financial information and consult with management on results found
- Perform financial analysis
- Post and reconcile accounts payable and receivables
- Assist with audits
- Support closing processes
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Produce various financial reports
- Oversee general ledger and prepare journals
Requirements:
- Non-Profit industry experience preferred
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
