Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client who is currently seeking a Deductions Analyst. The analyst will perform daily invoicing and investigate, document, clear or collect receivable deductions that have been taken by our customers. This position focuses more on customer deduction reconciliation than collections. The Analyst will report directly to the Controller. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detailed orientated and analytical, have excellent communication skills, have a strong understanding of accounting and have the ability to present researched information in a clear and concise manner.
Responsibilities:
- Investigative mentality and the ability to track prior payments and deductions through the receivables system.
- Solid understanding of debits and credits, account balancing and reconciliation procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; most communication with customers and brokers is via phone or e-mail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
