Diner Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of all day-to-day and long term operations of the restaurant
  • Maintain and enforce policies and procedures in the
  • Ops Manual and Employee Handbook. Active on-the-floor observation
  • Assess restaurant vibe and make adjustments
  • Assist in HR communications and administration
  • Assist in Payroll
  • Assist in instituting and executing all corporate policies and menu changes
  • Attend employee discipline and corrective action meetings with GM
  • Prepare all home office communications (The BUS) for GM approval
  • Ensure the restaurant and equipment is in good working condition at all times
  • Review all HS comments daily and help coordinate needs for GM
  • Oversight of staff training, development, evaluations and promotions
  • Brand reputation. Customer Satisfaction
  • Auditing all charts, reports, store bank, discounts voids and credit
  • Organizing & leading shift staff meetings, all-staff meetings, department meetings and inventory
  • Assist in Scheduling
  • Review weekly forecasting and budgeting with GM
  • Review P+L’s with GM and overall store financial performance
  • Optimizing labor, COGS, performance and morale
  • Primary Station
  • The entire restaurant
  • Physical Requirements
    • Able to stand for 9 hours
    • Lift 50 LBS
    • Maneuver 125 LBS kegs
