Head of Marketplace

As the Head of Marketplace, you will play a key role in leading the strategy and execution for ensuring that healthcare professionals are efficiently and optimally activated and continuously engaged to meet Hospital demand. As a revenue-driving force for CareRev, you will help build processes, hire, and lead the teams responsible for activating and retaining healthcare professionals, and for customer support. In this role, you will develop a strong infrastructure to support and contribute to rapid growth, and ensure team structures and processes align with business initiatives and goals.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for building and executing a strategy to effectively activate and engage health care workers to meet the volume and quality expectations of our Hospital Partners.

Your role will require you to lead a team and design daily practices to encourage growth through a strong focus on meeting changing demand from Hospital partners, listening closely to healthcare workers, and experimenting and optimizing onboarding methods that promote speed while protecting quality. You will be responsible for optimizing the organizational structure and detailed capacity planning in alignment with forecasted demand. Youll grow the Recruitment team as needed, develop new processes and playbooks, improve efficiency and margins, automate manual operational tasks, as you work to continuously over-deliver on filled shifts.

Youll develop strong partnerships with other CareRev leaders in Sales, Marketing, and Product, to create valuable feedback loops and maximize the impact of your team. The Marketing and Product teams will support your efforts to streamlining sourcing, onboarding, and activation of healthcare workers. Youll work with the sales team to forecast areas of high demand and ensure resources to meet it.

Your success will be measured by exceeding agreed goals and KPIs consistently.

To be successful you probably have/are:

  • 7-10 years of experience managing, coaching, mentoring, and leading a highly successful team;
  • experience in a tech enabled marketplace. Preference for experience scaling teams and the supply side;
  • an experienced leader with a strong operational background, comfortable developing and executing strategies, leveraging analytics and KPIs to inform decision-making and performance management.
  • accustomed to working in a metrics-driven environment and successful in developing methods to achieve KPI expectations;
  • able to lead a team, providing motivation and clear direction to meet expectations by instilling accountability for metrics and quality, sense of urgency, and deepening of customer relationships with health care workers;
  • comfortable building from the ground up – youll lead a team of 11 people and grow it;
  • able to collaborate effectively and develop strong cross-functional relationships, especially with Product, Marketing, and Sales functions;
  • able to adapt to changing business priorities, willing to take risks, make decisions, and run experiments.
