The firm has an Immediate need to add a superstar intellectual property hybrid (litigation/prosecution attorney to its team.Ideal candidate will have 2-4 years experience.On the litigation side, candidates should be familiar with all aspects of litigation including discovery and law and motion.
Trial experience is a plus.This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to personally handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters.Duties to Perform:?Independently manage a litigation caseload; ?Regularly handle court appearances and assigned depositions; ?Conduct research and analysis of legal matters and draft memoranda of law; ?Draft and respond to discovery; ?Prepare discovery motions and other briefs in State and Federal Court; and?Perform other related duties as assigned.On the Transactional side, candidates must have strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a desire to work in a collegial atmosphere with an emphasis on training, significant client contact, and a wide range of work, including copyright, trademark patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, and opinion work.Requirements:?JD from Accredited Law school; ?Must me a member of the CA Bar?at least 2-4 years of relevant experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial as well as copyright trademarkpreparation; Great benefits.
