In response to COVID-19, the Billing Supervisor may be required to work remotely certain days of the week.

The position is eligible for:Paid sick leave and vacation time10 Paid Company HolidaysHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceRetirement plan with 3% matching contributionsCompensation commensurate with experience Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Enforce and maintain company HIPAA and security policies.Ensure daily claims are submitted accurately and efficiently with the billing team.Ensure payments are posted on time according to revenue cycle requirements.Ensure insurance claim issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner by billing staffPerform as a super-user of electronic medical records/practice management system.Monitor the shared billing email inbox, responding to and resolving outstanding inquiries in an efficient and professional manner, both independently and with billing staff.Establish and track performance standards for billing staff.Participate in the work of the billing team to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.Directly supervise and coordinate the work activities of billing staff, including hiring, training, and supervising performance.Oversee collections performance by the billing team and provide insightful reports to the Director of FinanceMaintain weekly metric reportsPrepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for billing staff.Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided.Complete performance evaluations for billing staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience & QualificationsAssociate or Bachelor Degree preferredMinimum 1 year direct experience supervising and managing a team of around 10 peopleDirect experience with revenue cycle management for a multi-provider practiceSpecific experience in mental health preferredExpertise in healthcare insurance eligibility, verification, billing and collection practices and proceduresStrong working knowledge of medical terminology and CPT codingWe Are Looking For People Who ArePassionate about providing mental health services to college communitiesInclusive and able to communicate with persons from all educational and cultural backgroundsSupportive, team-oriented and collaborativeGrowth-oriented and have a desire for continuous learning and development in their practiceValue diversity and promote an inclusive workplace
