Associate, Dispute Advisory Services| Forensic and Litigation Consulting

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY: Working under the direction of client service professionals, the Client Projects Associate will primarily provide client project support, in addition to occasional administrative assistance.

The Associate will spend 50 to 70% of their time on client project-related activities, with the balance of time spent in an administrative capacity.

The client project activities will involve assisting with the preparation of work product and deliverables.

Administrative tasks will include client invoicing, practice development activities as well as general clerical work.

PRIMARY DUTIES: * Review, scan, parse, organize project documents/exhibits and maintain document control databases.* Work with PDF documents, including running OCR (optical character recognition) and compiling backup for reports and binders.* Assist in preparation of detailed Excel spreadsheets (including data entry), Word and PowerPoint presentations as well as expert reports.* Perform Quality Assessment (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures on various data sets and reports.* Conduct research.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES: * Associates degree or equivalent work experience.* Exceptional attention to detail.* Proficiency in the use of various software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Adobe Acrobat.* Strong computer and organizational skills.* Demonstrate a positive, courteous, and friendly attitude.* Self-directed and self-motivated in job-related tasks.* Ability to work well in teams and independently, in both a remote (virtual) and in-person setting.* Willing to learn new duties and technology-related skills as required.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Two plus years of work experience supporting and working with a team delivering consulting or legal services to a varied client base.* Experience supporting teams developing deliverables for clients.* Experience maintaining document control databases and inventories.* Expert with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.* Flexibility to adapt work schedule to meet client deadlines.* Flexibility in working on multiple assignments concurrently and taking direction from several client service professionals.* Accurate, efficient and consistent performance in demanding, deadline-driven situations.* Ability to work remotely, at client sites, and at repositories and archives.* This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt FTI Consulting is an Equal Opportunity Employer #LI-HB1 Our Benefits Apart from the well-structured career path and excellent team environment, our employees enjoy a variety of perks and benefits.
