Content Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a full-time Content Marketing Manager to work out of their NY office.

They want someone to a create engaging, high-performing content to attract and engage new and existing customers and audiences.

Their marketing team’s mission is to accelerate their growth What youll be doing:
• Recruit and manage a team of writers, and social channels
• Write, edit, and review marketing content, website, blogs, white papers, social media, and more
• Promote content through multiple marketing channels (social, email, syndication, etc.) to reach key audiences
• Have basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.

Your development of editorial governance content is consistent with their brand voice, style and tone
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Customer Success and Product teams and other team members to produce high-quality content to achieve bold growth objectives
• Coordinate and assist in public relations planning, execution and outreach (e.g.

write press releases, pitches, make sure materials are up-to-date and available, manage outside PR firm) What you need:
• You have 4 years of professional experience
• You love to write and enjoy making complicated topics simple to understand.

Your expertise is cross-channel but you specialize in creating content that drives demand for products and fills top of funnel via clicks and new customer acquisition, while being able to represent the brand to existing customers via emails, nurtures and up-sells
• You have a strong editorial mindset with a focus on creating content that resonates with key audience groups
• You have experience creating click-magnet content that delivers strong value to readers.

• You review analytics reports to identify what’s working and what’s not.

This includes approaching analytics reports with a curious mind that leads to tweaking copy and visuals to optimize content efforts.

Experience with A/B tests is a plus
• You articulate visual needs and brainstorm ideas with photo editors, graphic designers, and video producers to create content with strong visual impact
• You have experience with social media platforms, including mastery of standard methodologies for social posting for different platforms.

Experience with managing paid social content campaigns is a plus
• You’re a stickler for details: you triple check your work to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Have exceptionally sharp writing and editing skills.

You have the ability to turn ideas into compelling stories and clean, clear, vibrant copy
• Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics or other analytics reporting systems is a plus
