Vice President (VP) of Product (Remote)

UP Talent Group is partnering directly with the CEO of a venture-backed and growing startup in San Francisco to identify an outstanding Vice President of Product.  They are a brilliant team who pioneered the virtualization of entire data warehouse systems and is a “game changer” in the Data Warehousing space. Your Role: Report directly to the CEO Own product strategy and vision, the product lifecycle, and the definition and execution of the daily product process Drive the product process with cross-functionally team and inspire them with the vision of an innovative solution Identify opportunities and requirements for product changes Drive competitive analysis, industry research, and continuously improving the products Ensure the products are align with the input from their expert teams; Sales and Delivery in Customer Success Hire, manage and mentor exceptional team members Lead and direct conversations with C-level executives at leading global enterprises Achieve results which are aligned with the vision of the organization and its strategic goals   What They Value in You: 10+ years of industry experience in data warehousing, data processing, or data management 5+ years experience in product leadership Expert knowledge of databases and query processing In-depth knowledge with SQL, SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle Fluency in Azure, Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based GTM   What They Appreciate in You: Lead with excellent track record of building a product team Focus on achieving performance objectives for the organization and its strategic goals The ability to take initiative, have competitive drive, creative and able to adapt quickly Excellent communicator, relationship builder, problem solver, and influencer Confident, analytical, enthusiastic, commitment, and mission driven Passion for leading, mentoring and scaling product teams to reach their full potential Passionate about startups, like to be in challenging role, and fascinate about providing solutions which solving complex issues Excite to collaborate with world-class Engineers and partner with the most well-known Fortune 500 and Global 2000 enterprises in the US and around the world   Total Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Bonus (Quarterly) + Equity   If you may know someone who would be interested, please email me at uyen@up-talentgroup.com to learn more about our excellent referral program.
