We are looking for collaborative, results-oriented people who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have exceptional problem-solving skills.If you are a highly talented Sr Project Manager, we want to hear from you!This position can reside at any of our DLA Piper US offices.The Marketing and Business Development Department works alongside practice group and sector leaders, partners, and other senior-level firm stakeholders (US and Global) to develop, implement, and execute an innovative marketing strategy to support new client and existing client relationships, to develop and maintain the DLA Piper brand, and to drive awareness and favorability of our practice and sector expertise in the market.Minimum Requirements:+ Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business or Marketing+ 10 years of proven project management experience; preferably driving significant marketing and business development projects/initiatives+ Experience with CRM tools (preferably Salesforce and/or Interaction) and MS Office+ Excellent research skills+ Demonstrated experience with budget management and driving large initiatives and projects to completion+ Excellent communication skills+ Client-service focused and detail-oriented+ Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing projects across functions and geographies+ Ability to partner with stakeholders to understand project needs and resolve complex problems+ Stays current on trends in marketing and business development and incorporates best practices into daily workPreferred Requirements:+ 10 years of proven project management experience; ideally in a law firm or professional services organizationWhat will your day look like?You will communicate with both business development and marketing professionals and other business professionals (e.g., IT, Accounting, Client Services, HR), partners, and outside consultants to manage marketing and business development strategic initiatives that support the business objectives of the firm.You will manage key initiatives and projects led by the CMBDO ensuring that timelines are set and met, relevant resources are involved and that the work product meets or exceeds expectations.

You will act as a liaison to outside vendors in coordinating project timelines and deliverables and will source, analyze, and present data and information from other departments, including but not limited to, Finance, Knowledge Management, HR, Service Delivery, and IT, as needed to support department initiatives.

You will manage business development and marketing-related budgets providing ad hoc reports and analysis, and ensuring that expenses are properly recorded in the correct General Ledger account.You will build a strong working knowledge of the services offered by the firm including a deep understanding of practice group and office initiatives to effectively support and drive department initiatives to completion.

You will develop and support processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective implementation of marketing and business development initiatives, and look for ways to improve efficiency within the department.

Additionally, you will support and assist with data capture and reporting efforts for the department.
