The Proposal Center of Excellence (PCoE) is an experienced team of proposal professionals who’s mission is to increase Microsoft’s win probability and add value to every proposal that Microsoft delivers.
Today we have a large team of contractors and FTEs delivering quality customer deliverables for hundreds of responses each year.
The responses we craft are for Public Sector and Enterprise Commercial clients around the world, they range from a few million to billions of dollars.
Opportunities range from a couple of weeks of relatively straight forward work to months or years of support for our most complex engagements.
We are seeking a charismatic, engaging leader to take this team to new heights.
The Director of PCoE will require someone who has a strong history in the proposal industry, with experience across both public and private sectors globally.
You will have a demonstrated track record of building, motivating and developing teams to deliver successful outcomes for your business and clients alike.
An ability to create trusted relationships with key stakeholders from across Microsoft’s diverse business will be critical to success.

Responsibilities People leadership skills.
Budget management, planning and forecasting.
Deep proposal management expertise and understanding of best practices.
Negotiation skills to secure funding, manage demands from the business and reach agreement on how to progress in complex situations.
Ability to make decisions and operate with ambiguity.
Clear and convincing communication style both written and oral.
Shipley and APMP knowledge preferred.
Qualifications 10 years experience of proposal management, sales, and/or business development.
Demonstrated leadership experience.
Experience working in the tech industry preferred.
Experience working across Public and Private sector in proposal management.
Bachelor’s degree or above.
