Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 10-15 years total accounting experience working within a public company + public accounting experience from a nationally recognized firm CPA highly preferred Pre-IPO or SPAC experience preferred SEC reporting experience (10k/10Q) Solid knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Strong team management experience; Proven track record hiring, training, and coaching a team Continuous process improvement focused mindset
What You’ll Do
Evaluate current state of accounting operations and develop and execute process improvement plan Manage and oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards Direct regulatory reporting such as quarterly annual reporting (10K, 10Q) Improve efficiency and strength of accounting and finance team through strategic hiring, training, and development Monitor operating and financial budgets on a consistent bi-weekly, monthly, and annual basis Gather, analyze, and manage all financial data to provide an effective and accurate report of consolidated business results
