Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Retail, the Director of Supply Chain Management is a key member of the Corrections’ Line of Business team.

This leader develops the supply chain strategy and ensures execution to support the Line of Business objectives.

Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and maintain resources to establish & provide an effective supply chain.

The Director of Supply Chain Management works with the Line of Business and with Corporate supply chain to source vendor partners.

Specific Responsibilities of the DIRECTOR of SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT:
Responsible for ensuring adequate supply of products, through vendor/supplier relationships.

Identifying private label opportunities within the marketplace.

Negotiation of contracts with vendor partners.

New product innovation.

Utilizes insights to determine appropriate product mix.

Financial analysis to influence buying recommendations.

Develop, communicate, implement, and measure Supply Chain Operational Efficiencies.

Be the primary link between Corporate Supply Chain and Line of Business.

Identify opportunities to improve the LOB profitability and efficiency.

Partner with the Sales and Retention team, to propose supply chain solutions that will acquire or retain business.

Participate as the key stakeholder to strategic supplier relationships, representing LOB interests.

Salary eligible benefits vary by location and are subject to any legal requirements or limitations, employee eligibility status, and where the employee lives and/or works.

COMPENSATION: The salary rate for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 , depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.

Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission . This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Minimum of 5 years of continuous procurement, supply chain or business optimization experience in large scale organizations.

Must have a balance of both strategic and operational capacities.

Accomplished in leading and working within a matrix environment, build strong cross-functional and cross-regional relationships.

Must have experience interacting at senior levels of the organization Strong analytical experience.

Experience in project management Experience with supporting retail markets, specifically Consumer Packaged Goods.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to communicate with a wide range people.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively at all levels, particularly at the management level.

Strong program and transformation management skills.

Develop strong relationships, identify collaboration opportunities, and facilitate the exchange of information, project execution and collaboration between local teams and corporate teams.

A self-starter, confident, self-motivated, and able to work effectively with little supervision.

High energy, results-oriented individual who makes a difference
– takes initiative, makes things happen, accepts accountability, and has a “can do” attitude; has a sense of urgency.

Creative and flexible in attitude and style to adapt to new situations in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
