Job Description WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive sales to wholesale distributors via manufacturer rep agencies.
You will be responsible for managing sales agency activity, new business growth and developing relationships with key account leadership.
You will be trsuted to: Service and grow existing accounts through effective partnership with sales agencies and distributors; including sales presentations, utilization of support services, and product/busines strategies.
Develop new account opportunities.
Develop relationships with leadership at key accounts.
Direct activities of sales agencies.
Develop and recommend plans to management about ways to maximize future business.
Submit short and long-range sales forecasts and prepare sales strategies based on current and anticipated customer requirements.
Qualifications WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years related experience.
Expert abilities with building relationships, listening, persuading, negotiating and managing time.
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Knows principles and processes for providing customer service.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Effective at written and verbal communication.
Requires substantial industry and product knowledge.
Must be able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
