Project Manager – Art Services

PTW and 1518 is currently looking for a passionate Project Manager to join our crew.

PTW has been a stalwart of external development in the games industry for nearly three decades and is ready to add to our team with a dedicated Project Manager for our Art division.

The Project Managers primary objective would be to optimize technical and non-technical communication between clients and 1518 Studios once art contracts are underway.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analyze and investigate new project requirements
  • Research on indicators of performance, profitability, resources and prospects
  • Increase the profitability of projects
  • Ensure that the desires of the client and the results of the team align
  • Control of terms, production volumes and intermediate results for the project
  • Build communication with different departments within the team and with the clients
  • Conduct team meetings, providing various types of reporting
  • Conduct interviews, participating in the recruitment process of new hires
  • Provide support to incident, problem and change management

Requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum of 3 years’ of experience as an Art Outsourcing manager, Art Manager or Art Lead
  • Familiar with the language and the tools used to create art (JIRA, Trello, shotgun, Maya, substance painter, etc)
  • Ability to work with various groups of professionals: programmers, artists, designers
  • Experience at all stages of the project: from idea to release
  • Experience in working with clients around the globe
  • Ability to work with a staff upwards of 15 individuals
  • Ability to plan, analyze and prioritize in a multitasking environment
  • Possession of skills in working with excel and knowledge of mathematics
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Capable of communicating complex technical information to a non-technical audience and of communicating structured production process requirements to a technical audience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills in English
