As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality and performance of our augmented reality hardware and software products.
You are a self starter who can help define test strategies and automation procedures.
You have a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and strong critical thinking/problem solving skills.
You adapt to changing needs and continuously take on new responsibilities.
You will collaborate closely with our software, hardware, and customer support teams to ensure we’re shipping products that are reliable and responsive.
Responsibilities:
Comprehensively manual test the product across various platforms, including the Prism Pro augmented reality headset, mobile, and web Maintain ever-growing manual test suites, executing ad-hoc testing on new areas that haven’t yet been documented, and dive through the UX to help us deliver the best user experience possible.
Work closely with the product and engineering teams to drive bug prioritization, organize test execution progress, and report on results Manage bug reporting and development flows using Jira Design specifications for product quality and performance based on direct customer feedback Analyze the current development process and establish strategies that drive reliability Help build a culture of robust, scalable development practices that grow with the team Assist in the management and communication of monthly releases
– release cut off (code freeze), regression testing status, release item validation, and production validation/smoke testing
Need to Have:
Bachelors of Computer Science, Mathematic or related field or comparable experience 3+ years of Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Usability Research experience Experience with agile test tools and test driven development methodologies Experience working with Jira Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA Processes Strong ability for using Word, Excel, etc.
Nice to Have:
Experience working hands-on in the augmented reality and/or virtual reality spheres Experience with Unity, particularly with Unity Test Tools Experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium Grid, Appium, Mocha.js, etc.
Experience with Jenkins, or similar CI/CD pipeline tools Experience with types of testing including performance and stress Someone who can handle flexible work-hours: weekends and late nights as needed
