Compensation: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly
Our client, an exciting performing arts college located in Hollywood, is looking for a Human Resources Assistant. This is a long term contract position, lasting at least through March of 2022. This is an onsite position, hours are 9am-6pm and parking is covered. Robert Half is looking for a candidate with light HR experience, who is tech savvy and has excellent written and verbal communication skills! This opportunity could go permanent for the right individual, and pay would be up to $25/hr DOE.
As the Human Resources Assistant, you will be responsible for posting jobs, processing employment verifications, coordinating student employment and meeting with students regularly to complete their new hire paperwork. Additional duties will be to issue ID’s for faculty and staff, prep documents, and assist with special administrative projects for the human resources department.
Job Requirements:
– Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment
– Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
– Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
– Proficiency with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
