Leading, high growth (pre-IPO), e-commerce group looking for a sharp Senior Accountant, Equity to join their team!
Responsibilities:
Timely completion of monthly close responsibilities for equity and stock based compensation expense Ensure accuracy of equity data including new grants, cancellations, option valuations & cap table Create and maintain spreadsheets to report and analyze data related to equity and stock based compensation Complete equity rollforward Assist in performing technical accounting research to determine the appropriate treatment for equity transactions under US GAAP Ensure success of various equity projects including implementation of brokerage platform Actively collaborate with multiple departments including HR, Legal and Accounting Ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed Ability to be flexible and grow with the company to take on other areas as identified by management

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent Minimum 3 years public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred.
Experience and working knowledge of ASC 718 CPA required Hands-on experience with Shareworks equity platform strongly preferred Must have strong proficiency with Oracle and Excel Ability to pivot and work across multiple different corporate structures with experience in a fast-paced or start up type atmosphere preferred
