Junior Project Controller / Financial Analyst Summary Establishment and maintenance of the organization’s accounting principles, practices, and procedures for the maintenance of its financial records.
Directs cost accounting, and budgetary control.
Appraises operating results in terms of profits, costs, budgets, operating policies, cash flows, and increased profit opportunities.
This job would be remote for now (with some flexibility to come into the office for controlling meetings possibly 1x a month maximum).
Duties and Responsibilities Main areas of responsibilities are:
• Coordinate and direct the monthly financial forecasting activities, including: Project revenue recognition (project base orders and customer engineering changes) Cost Center absorption and expense recognition Project invoicing and cash collection forecasting per specific milestones Planning with sales of future project forecasts Project budgets and forecast Analyze the monthly forecasted financials vs.
prior month and annual budget
•Promote financial awareness and accountability within the operating teams Ensure internal policies and processes are adhered to by operations (ICFR’s, Client Global Policies)
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports, internal and external audit requirements, and other special projects
• Work with project management and project teams with budget and forecast preparation
• Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations; and maintain solutions to business and financial problems Behavioral Competencies

• Strong ethic and result driven Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Business Administration/Finance Previous experiences (3-5 years) Forecasting and variance analysis Experience in project based business ( preferred / project accounting based on percentage of completion) SAP experience (preferred)
