An insurance group is in need of a Remote Accident and Health Claim Supervisor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities: Ensure execution of claim handling strategies Supervise day-to day activities and priorities of claims staff Monitor reserving activity to ensure compliance with corporate policy Must meet the following requirements for consideration: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required Minimum of 5-7 years of specialty claims experience, with 1-3 years of supervisory experience Must be able to supervise a staff, including informal training and formal development of team Expert claims technical knowledge, and legal climate background is essential for associated business unit Must have superior analytical, negotiation, decision making, problem solving, organizational and presentation skills Maintains a strong professional knowledge of regulatory and legal environments and applies this information effectively
