This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday- Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (7:00am-5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 27107 Tourney Rd, Valencia, CA 91355, but you will have the ability to work at home also.
Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues
- Analyzing and reconciling cash posting entries
- Familiar with explanation of benefits
- Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times
- Meet or exceed daily production standards
- Meet or exceed daily quality standards
- Perform other duties and functions as assigned
- Process insurance, client and patient refunds
- Process adjustments and credit balances
- Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely matter

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ year experience working within a professional setting doing high volume data entry
- Ability to navigate the internet for researching purposes
- Ability to work 7am – 3:30pm or 8:30am – 5:00pm local time Monday – Friday, and overtime as needed based on department needs
- Must live within a commutable distance to Valencia, CA
- If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas that provides information privacy
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Residing in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection (additional information on UnitedHealth Group approved internet providers and restrictions will be provided)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banking or Medical Billing experience
- Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
