VCA West Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Professional to join our fast-growing, 24 hour emergency/multi-specialty practice.

Responsibilities include general building maintenance and janitorial duties, such as cleaning rest rooms, kitchen, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness of the hospital.

Requirements + Minimum 1 year of experience in housekeeping or maintenance preferred but not required.

+ The ideal candidate will be a team player who is friendly, outgoing, people
– oriented and has excellent communication and client service skills.

+ Strong attention to detail and understanding of OSHA standards and hospital cleaning protocol.

Responsibilities + Perform a variety of duties for the cleaning and maintenance of the hospital.

+ General building maintenance and janitorial duties(including animal waste), sanitize such as cleaning rest rooms and kitchen, vacuuming, laundry, sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and maintaining cleanliness of outside areas.

+ Assist the with work orders + Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists.

+ Maintains laundry for the hospital + Maintains the grounds of the property including waste disposal.
