New Account Onboarding Specialist

Our affiliate, Kayne Anderson Rudnick is in search of a New Account Onboarding Specialist in their LA office.

Century City-based wealth and investment management firm with over $60 billion in assets under management is seeking an exceptional individual to join our Wealth Advisory Group as a New Account Onboarding Specialist.

The successful candidate will work as part of a growth-focused advisory team to provide a professional and exceptional level of client service to affluent investors.

As a New Account Onboarding Specialist, you will assist the wealth advisory group with opening up new accounts.

The ideal candidate should have working knowledge/or understanding of incoming transfers of accounts through ACAT, non-ACAT systems and experience in the financial services industry, coupled with demonstrable customer service skills and experience.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The successful candidate will develop the skills necessary to perform as a New Account Onboarding Specialist including the following: Act as primary service related and administrative contact for high-net-worth investors and their professional advisors (CPA’S, business managers, attorneys) specializing in onboarding.

· Open new accounts and monitor progress.

· Prepare and process custodial and internal new account forms and review all new account paperwork to ensure documents are complete and in good order.

· Verify accounts are fully funded via check deposit, wires, EFT’s, or ACAT/non-ACT transfers to ensure that all applicable accounts moved as expected.

· Support our service teams with questions on transfers processed or pending requests.

· Maintain and update client files, CRM and other portfolio data, as needed.

· Collaborate with management to improve practices and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelors’ Degree required

· Some exposure and demonstrated interest in the financial markets in a classroom or internship setting.

· Strong interest in learning about capital markets and financial services.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational and quantitative skills.

· Strong attention to detail, math aptitude, and the ability to multi-task.

· Strong client service mind-frame.

· Experience in the financial industry and/or processing in a high volume and deadline driven environment.

· Ability to develop positive working relationships and works well in a team setting.

· Independent, self-starter, possessing initiative, drive, composure and enthusiasm.

· Proficiency in Excel and Word.

· Familiarity with Fidelity and/or Charles Schwab forms (preferred)
