We are seeking an energetic and motivated Account Executive to drive sales revenue through targeted prospecting, cold-calling and consultative sales presentations for our Southern California media and entertainment company which includes Los Angeles magazine, Orange Coast magazine, Pasadena magazine, and Compass Media. This role will sell a portfolio of award-winning products including print, digital advertising, and event sponsorships.
Considering candidates that are entry level up to 2 years sales experience.
Responsibilities
Prospect, develop, maintain, and grow revenue-generating relationships with new and existing businesses Communicate our product offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers, over the phone, through in-person meetings/presentations and through formal campaign proposals.
Work with all internal groups (marketing, research, strategy, etc.) to prospect new business, to ensure campaign success and to grow our position in the print and digital marketplace.

Ideal sales candidate will be financially driven, highly disciplined and have a strong work ethic Have the ability and desire to meet and exceed revenue goals and excel in a highly competitive market Conduct strategic, consultative, and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients Driven, self-starter who is able to execute and deliver without day-to-day management Sharp business sense and resourceful Must be service oriented, with knowledge of advertising/marketing/promotions Excellent oral, planning, organizational, and time management skills College degree required Some traveling may be required Must live locally.
