MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.*Description** Research and communicate safety and compliance requirements relating to current products, new product categories, and expansion of sales to new regions* Stay abreast with changes to regulatory and agency requirements, and recommend actions required to maintain compliance of active products* Partner with product development, marketing and creative to ensure compliance requirements are met in all product aspects such as labeling, packaging artwork, instruction booklets, and marketing claims.* Provide technical support to meet import and export requirements for import/export permits, certificates, local product product registrations.* Support Product Development projects to make certain that safety and regulatory compliance requirements are met* Work with procurement to gather raw material documentation to ensure contract-manufactured products are in compliance with specifications and regulations.* Lead and direct internal product teams leadership and cross-functional teams on compliance-related issues.* 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory Compliance in consumer goods* BS/BA degree* Previous experience in fast-growing startup or Direct to Consumer (DTC) brands a plus!* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written* Excellent conceptual, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.Our client is a venture-backed, rapidly growing DTC start-up with a strong international presence.
