Join us at Guidehouse.Responsibilities The Federal Civilian Technology Business Driver is a new Director level position focused on growing the technology and IT pipeline and associated business across Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure (ES&I)-Public-Federal Civilian sector.

Primary Responsibilities: + Originate new business in white space (identify, shape, & close) for Guidehouse with public sector civilian agency clients, with primary focus on opportunities at the convergence of functions (e.g.

IT, finance, HR) and lines of business that require technology enablement to achieve goals + Leverage c-suite relationships and experience to develop cross-functional and technology focused programs with clients as a strategic business partner + Expand executive-level relationships with public sector clients and identify opportunities to increase market awareness of Guidehouse with C-suite executives + Provide advice on packaging existing and new Guidehouse technology capabilities / assets to align with client needs and ensure that the potential business value from programs are realized + Support other Partners / Directors in developing executive-level, trust-based relationships with technology leaders across Federal civilian market + Leverage existing teaming partner relationships, both Guidehouse and personal, to fuel growth; seek out, strategize, and create teaming opportunities on pursuits beyond those capable of one firm / company Additional Responsibilities: + Develop a deep knowledge of the target client organization and build positive relationships, both horizontally and vertically.

+ Provide advice on large program delivery to ensure that the potential business value is realized by clients (e.g.

business cases, ROI) and recognized in the advancement of executive-level relationships.

+ Work collaboratively with opportunity pursuit teams and evaluate proposals (from the client perspective) to ensure they address strategic client priorities, clearly articulate the differentiated value Guidehouse is providing through consultancy, and exceeding expectations.

+ Identify and develop new joint initiatives with external technology partners to expand Guidehouse business capabilities and penetrate new technology service segments.

+ Generate thought leadership that addresses strategic issues at the intersection of technology and business and be active in the market at industry-focused conferences Measures of Success + Sales and New Business Growth + Opportunity Pipeline Generated + New Client Relationships Developed + Client Relationships Expanded + Strategic Partnering & Strategy Qualifications+ Bachelor’s degree + 10+ years successful sales experience as Business Development driver in the federal marketplace + 5+ years’ experience using formal sales capture processes + 5+ years’ experience in IT solutions, IT services, and IT markets + Ability to interface and negotiate with senior executives and teaming partners + Experience managing sales pipeline, forecasting, and closing deals + Strong facilitation and communication skills
– both written and verbal + Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities+ Ability to travel as required+ Ability to meet requirements for and successfully be issued a Public Trust+ Currently reside or ability to relocate to the Washington DC areaAdditional Requirements The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
