Position Summary:
As our International Logistics Specialist, you would assist the ERP team in managing shipments and maintaining SAP B1 data and various other duties.
Responsibilities:
Communicate internally and externally regarding orders and transportation needs Coordinate timely dispatches with domestics and overseas vendors Troubleshoot logistics related issues with logistics service providers, overseas vendors and customers Prepare Import/Export documentations for international shipments Utilize various functions in SAP B1, including but not limited to creating orders, goods receipt, delivery, etc Initiate timely invoicing and work closely with accounting department to ensure billing accuracy Monitor vendors and 3rd party logistics providers ahead to our customer’s compliance requirements Organize open order records and documentations, including filings and data entries Various SAP B1 projects or other duties as they arise
Qualifications:
Quick learner, detail oriented with proven ability to work efficiently with high accuracy Exceptional organization and time management skills with the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment Bachelor degree with minimum 2 years of experience in the field of international logistics Strong knowledge of import/export documentation and solid understanding of Inco terms Proficiency in SAP B1 (or similar ERP systems) Outlook, Excel and Word is required Strong verbal/written communication skills are essential
