Magma Math is one of Sweden’s fastest growing edtech startups and provides a leading platform for math education in the k-8 space. The platform is now growing rapidly in the USA, and we are looking for enthusiastic sales development representatives who want to be part of our incredible venture!
As a Sales Development Representative you play a crucial role in setting up your entire team to succeed, as you make the first in-person impression with the potential customer. The role is centered around building relationships with the right people within school districts and developing these prospects to business opportunities for your team?s Account Executive. This is a systematic process where you combine emailing, calling and holding webinars. The role tilts more towards inquiry rather than traditional sales – it?s about building trust with your leads and understanding their needs. As you grow your client base, your team, your responsibilities and your opportunities will grow as well!
The role is entrepreneurial, meaning that you?ll have a large degree of freedom in the strategies you decide to employ in order to reach your goals, together with the rest of the team. You will be working in a small, ambitious team with close proximity to the on of the founders & CEO.
Who you are and what you know
You are an ambitious doer who is not afraid to try new things. You are output oriented and like to put ambitious targets for yourself. You are a team player who shares learnings with your colleagues. You have strong work ethics and a high degree of integrity. You are passionate about doing something extraordinary. You enjoy sales, and preferably have some years of work experience from sales. Previous work experience from roles within the education sector is also meritorious.
