The company is a mid-size Retailer based in Los Angeles.

The company is planning a large scale up of their e-commerce platform and need an experienced Software Architect in data migration, cloud based back-end architecture, and cloud based web development in an e-commerce space.

This Software Architect will also have the ability to plan, design, deliver, and explain their “scale-up” plan to the execs on the business side.

Official Job Description:

In this role you will:
Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate high level product initiatives into technical architecture and execution Explain highly technical concepts at a level appropriate to each audience, from junior engineer to senior executive Work across technology teams to facilitate and collaborate on the architectural design for project and product initiatives Improve architecture by leveraging emerging technologies where appropriate, evaluating applicability to business goals and operational requirements Improves knowledge across the organization by conducting tech talks, preparing blog posts, and seeking out mentorship opportunities
Requirements:
Development and architecture experience, primarily back-end focused Proven track record of evolving system architectures, object models and data storage design Developing complex, high availability enterprise software in Java/J2EE GCP cloud functions and workflows experience
