Job Description

• Underwrite new lending facilities primarily for C&I team.

• Must have experience with account receivable and inventory financing.

• Complete renewals, annual credit reviews and amendments on a timely basis for assigned borrowers.

• Monitor and report all deterioration in credit quality to the underwriting manager, team leader, and group head.

• Prepare loan pricing models with accurate inputs relating to the subject facility.

• Assist in reviewing loan documentation, negotiation and follow through to the closing.

• Attend client meetings with the account officers, calling on prospects and customers to identify needs, aid with new business development and facility structuring.

• Comply with all of the bank’s and department’s policies and procedures.

• Work on special projects as assigned.

• Complete all required training courses in a timely fashion.

Qualifications
Underwriter needs to have strong credit and organizational skills as well as solid understanding of middle market C&I credit facilities including lines of credit, account receivable reliant loans, owner occupied CRE facilities and credit process.

Minimum experience of 3 to 5 years in underwriting required.  Must be able to work as part of the Middle Office team working together with Underwriting Manager, Account Officers, Team Leader and Senior Management Willingness to take on special projects as they arise.

Should already be familiar with systems and underwriting processes Should possess strong communication skills (verbal and written) Ability to work in a collaborative environment and meet tight deadlines Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
