This academic affiliated hospital would like a VP of Finance who can handle a large budget, funding programs, and academic affiliated resources that involve finances. The Assistant CFO is responsible for:
- Federally funded programs (Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, abuse, and waste.
- Bringing compliance concerns to the immediate attention of the Compliance Officer.
- Ensuring organizational continuity within the limits authorized by policies, procedures, and budgets.
- Overseeing the daily operations of the Financial Accounting (Accounts Payable, Payroll), Budget/ Financial Planning / and Decision Support departments.
- Ensuring that the Hospital’s annual operating and capital budget process is aligned with the Hospital’s strategic planning and business unit.
