Jr. Training System Consultant

Jr. Training Systems Consultant – Contract – Los Angeles, CA Please Note Pay is 23-25hr. Summary Develops, implements, monitors, reports, and enhances, as necessary, the bank’s comprehensive Banker’s Academy Training Programs for areas outside of Compliance Regulations such as Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Vendor Management, to ensure that all colleagues have the ability to complete required training relative to all legal and regulatory initiatives, as is pertinent to their job function and responsibility. Works on special projects, including policies and procedures development. Responsibilities Supports management of training monitoring program, ensuring that there are sufficient internal controls to promote an effective control environment. Prioritize focus toward areas identified as having the highest levels of risk to the company. Assist in administering the Bank’s Training Programs, ensuring that there are sufficient mechanisms and delivery options to enable colleagues to complete their training responsibilities in a timely and effective manner. Works with Training vendor to launch, assign and track required colleague training courses Performs analytical reviews, propose and implement solutions to resolve any issues or problems that arise, and communicates such matters to the appropriate level of management, if applicable. Applies both technical and general business knowledge to resolve the most complex issues in assigned function. Work to resolve rule setup and training loads for areas outside of Regulatory Compliance related to corrective actions, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Data Office, and Enterprise Program required training outside of Regulatory Compliance. Required Minimum of 2 years of experience in banking, compliance, training or project management. Minimum 2 years’ experience with managing projects or processes Prior Bankers’ Academy tool or enterprise training programs a plus Ability to operate effectively in a fast paced environment. Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills. Ability to multi-task and switch gears to work on special projects.
