The Senior Manager Service Transformation role will be responsible for leading the processes, standard work, timelines, and success metrics across key service transformation workstreams.
This includes Customer Facing Digital Capabilities, Internal Service solutions, optimized Services Delivery model, and the COE organizational design and structure.
This role will be responsible for managing the workstream progress, challenging assumptions in the workstreams, and supporting business case development and execution in partnership with the workstream leaders, the digital service innovation leader and the service operations leader.
The leader will also be responsible for supporting stakeholder engagement across key workstreams, service organizations, functional partners, and critical SMEs.
This role will be a remote based position.Key Responsibilities:+ Support overall strategy for Service Transformation, including assessing market trends and competitor capabilities+ Partnership with cross company stakeholders and the Service Transformation Workstream Leaders.+ Responsible for weekly touch points with workstream teams and transformation leaders+ Responsible for supporting the regular monthly divisional president check ins and the quarterly EOG updates with CLT.+ Tracking progress to timelines and supporting preparation for the governance process and communication across the organization+ Accountability to report and synthesize data to be leveraged by the IMO director in the decision making process for key workstream decisions and requests/needs+ Challenge the assumptions of the workstreams with an independent lens+ Support work outcomes with key partners (Bain, Deloitte, etc.) on various initiatives+ Oversee services transformation tracking and metrics/KPIs for all workstreams+ Partner with Finance to ensure that workstreams are aligned to critical financial timelines to support P&L, AOP planning and other inputs needed to capture investment/savings, etc.
throughout the process+ Partner with the leaders on accountability, performance management and actions needed to ensure work success and completionOutcomes:+ Ongoing cadence and governance to review scheduled timelines+ Clear success metrics and aligned road map across the services organization+ Key stakeholder engagement and input across services organizations, SMEs, CLT, and other bodies of governance throughout the process+ Clear accountability across all leaders and teamsQualifications:+ Bachelor’s Degree in business related field; MBA preferred+ 5 years of Industry experience and knowledge+ Operational and PM experience, understanding KPIs, PPI process, metrics/measures for success+ Consulting or other experience leading larger workstreams and transformational initiatives+ Strong leadership skills and proven ability to adapt leadership style to different situations and people+ Experience working in environments with strong cross functional collaboration+ Play an active role in leading the teams, providing challenge and support in equal measure+ Must have an outstanding attention to detail and strong process rigor with continuous improvement mindset.Thermo Fisher Scientific is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
