Senior Pega Developer

As a Senior Pega Developer, you’ll be responsible for leading the implementation of technical solutions.

You will work closely with Business Analysts and other engineers to design and implement a maintainable and scalable solution.

You will be building mission critical applications for the business that will be consumed by thousands of users.

This role has the potential to make a high impact on the business and would be well suited for those similarly inclined.**The Role**+ Design, develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance+ Utilize best practices for Pega development, QA, and security+ Work in an agile environment that values frequent releases and fast feedback from stakeholders+ Work with a team of peers to brainstorm and build high quality solutions+ Lead architectural designs and build reusable components+ Mentor and empower other less senior resources by providing technical guidance+ Demonstrate technical knowledge by mentoring junior team members+ Work with Subject Matter Experts, Technical Leads, and other stakeholders in scoping and sizing technical requirements**The Requirements**+ Ability to develop and implement exceptional technical solutions, with little to no guidance+ Manage technical implementation tasks delegated by the Lead Architect to ensure work is delivered on-time+ Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during the project lifecycle+ Ability to translate complex business requirement into functional technical requirements using Pega methodologies+ Strong understanding of Pega PRPC; 3-7 years of experience using Pega software+ Strong leadership, mentoring, coaching and motivational skills+ Experience architecting, designing, and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure and applications+ Experience working with databases+ Creative problem solver; someone who can analyze a situation and propose solutions to a problem+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and able to work effectively with a diverse technical team+ Ability to shift between the big picture and a detailed analysis+ Effective time management, organization and prioritization skills; ability to manage and prioritize multiple deliverables and to meet deadlines+ Ability to evaluate processes and implement best practices+ Continuous improvement mentality+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field preferred; High School diploma requiredPreferred qualifications:+ Knowledge of industry standard agile project delivery frameworks such as Scrum+ Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)+ Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts+ Prior Experience in Customer Service Framework+ Web services experience+ Java experienceEOE, including disability/vets (indly.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/1240/2020/08/EEO-Policies-for-WTW-Careers-site-2020-1.pdf)
