Responsibilities

About this opportunity:

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner. He/she assists the Orthopedic team in providing high quality health care to the patient that requires Orthopedic surgery. This person also applies basic to complex understanding of the purpose and use of Orthopedic instrumentation and equipment. He/she functions as a resource person to the staff, Surgeons, SPD and the Manager. This person should demonstrate mark initiative, independence and is capable of creative problem solving.

Surgical Technician / Surgical Services / OR / Operating Room / Orthopedics

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years experience in an acute care surgery setting, preferably in Orthopedics.
  • High School graduate required.
  • BLS- Basic Life Support required.
  • Certified Operating Room technician preferred.
  • Requires close concentration and high degree of accuracy and organization to prepare and set up for surgical procedures.
