Robert Half is currently seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician for a client located in Sun Valley, CA! IT Helpdesk Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to computer hardware, software, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals! Job Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience within the Helpdesk, PC Technician space
Escalate complex events to the appropriate team member
Help when updating drivers, operating systems, anti-virus software, and applications (Windows 7/10)
Receive, configure, and deploy computer hardware, software, mobile devices, printers and other peripherals
Maintain and support VoIP telephones, security cameras, audio-visual equipment and multi-function printers
Receive, prioritize, and respond to incoming Help Desk requests to ensure satisfactory and timely resolutions
Maintain detailed records of all software and hardware issues to provide IT with data regarding recurring problems reported by multiple users
Manage user, group, and workstation objects within Active Directory: Tasks include password resets and status checks, user creation, modifications to group members, and folder permissions)
Determine and document the steps to resolve the issue and manage the flow of incoming support requests. This includes understanding the full scope of the user’s issues by asking the most efficient series of questions
