KPMG is currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Fixed Asset to join our, Accounting Methods and Credit Services (AMCS) practice.

Responsibilities: * Conduct and manage fixed asset accounting method reviews and assessments by designing and implementing projects related to tangible property regulations (primarily repairs and dispositions), depreciation, cost segregation and sustainability) * Liaise with members of KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice on various technical matters * Assist in new business development, including add-on business, while sustaining excellent client service by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships outside of the firm * Research technical issues, prepare reports, and propose viable solutions * Provide quality assurance, engagement review and exam support * Coordinate and collect information from architects, engineers, and contractors Qualifications: * A minimum of five years (Manager) and eight years (Senior Manager) of experience within federal corporate income tax in a large accounting firm, corporation, or law firm * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university; Master’s degree in engineering preferred * Desire to focus on non-routine and non-recurring tax advisory and project related work * Experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams KPMG LLP (the U.S.
