is continuously looking for new team members to help us continue to scale, cultivate our community, and advance our strategic direction.Job Summary: The Growth Content Marketer is responsible for sourcing and developing unique and thumb-stopping social media content which attracts, converts, and increases web traffic and brand awareness for our brands.
This position partners with various teams in the content ideation and posting schedule process.
The ideal candidate has experience creating and scheduling content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other various social media platforms.
This is a 1099 Contract which will be overseen by the Growth Content Marketing Manager.Responsibilities:+ Develop, source, and schedule thumb-stopping content for Facebook, Instagram & Twitter.+ Reference the brand guidelines and requirements when sourcing and creating content, ensuring social media posts are consistent with the brand voice, style and tone.+ Responsible for meeting weekly growth goals to help drive traffic/engagement in alignment with larger Growth Team weekly goals.+ Work with the Growth Content Marketing Manager and editorial team to execute posting schedules in a fast paced environment Qualifications:+ Education: Preferred BA/BS or relevant work experience+ Experience: 1-3 years of experience managing social media and/or content strategy for a variety of companies+ Technologies: Plus if you have access to and have experience in Adobe Photoshop & Premiere+ Other Experience/Skills: + Experience creating content for the web and growing a social audience+ Creative mindset that understands what Black audiences consume on social media and how to create it+ Ability to analyze traffic and engagement metrics and use data to make creative decisions + Strong judgment and the ability to make decisions independently+ Yearning to constantly learn new things and improve on current methods+ Ability to work in a variety of media, meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously and adjust as circumstances changeDetails: This is a 6 month contract which is expected to work 15 hours/week.
