Site Lead (Warehouse/Sales)
FULL-TIME
$23/hr
Position Purpose:
The Site Lead is responsible for supervising BPS’ customer’s onsite warehouse while identifying and meeting the customer’s supply and material needs. This is achieved by processing requests and orders in an accurate and timely manner while effectively managing the warehouse in adherence with BPS’ standard operating procedures.
Essential Functions:
• Builds strong customer and vendor relationships, earns their trust, and meets their business needs
• Maintains a positive, safe, and professional work environment at all times
• Uses the company’s ERP system to locate material and process procurement transactions
• Exhibits proficiency in all facets of the procurement process, including sourcing material from vendors
• Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within our established guidelines
• Processes all customer returns
• Understands and applies the price matrix/material provided by our Purchasing Dept
• Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports
• Makes purchases offsite at brick and mortar stores for customer; delivers products
• Maintains building and equipment by ensuring preventative maintenance programs are in place and loss prevention/security/safety policies are followed.
• Effectively manages inventory and reports any discrepancies to manager
• Promotes safety in the workplace by supporting the Customer’s and BPS’s safety programs, including conducting safety and security audits; as well as identifying and implementing standard operating procedures to address safety and security issues.
• Reports all safety, business ethics, and compliance related issues to management. Participates in associate accident investigations to identify and correct root causes.
• Executes all tasks safely, and with a genuine sense of urgency to ensure a consistently high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Manages and directs the storage, retrieval, processing, and accuracy of. Executes in an efficient, accurate, timely and cost-effective manner.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, as needed, with responsibility for all resources, facility and operational issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong adherence to attendance and punctuality requirements a must.
• Knowledge of basic Inside sales/counter sales procedures and practices
• Experience in a warehouse environment with knowledge of proper inventory and bin location processes
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
• Requires a high level of professionalism, initiative and self-motivating attitude.
• Ability to work at a fast pace but maintain attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis required
• Proven analytical, simple mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to deal calmly and effectively with customers while maintaining and promoting a positive image
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license required.
• Occasional off-hours emergency availability required.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with both customers and company personnel at all organizational levels
• Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs; including ERP system, word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail applications.

Schedule
Shift start: 6:30AM or 7:00AM
Shift length: 8 hours
Typically Monday – Friday; Some weekends
