In this key role, you will skillfully apply the
art and science of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics through safe and
effective use of radionuclides. You will perform patient interviews as well as
provide patient care and instructions. You
will be responsible for the preparation, quality control, calibration, and
administration of radiopharmaceutical compounds as well as the execution of
patient imaging and therapeutic procedures. This will include computer
processing and image enhancement, and laboratory testing. Your in-depth knowledge
of radiation physics and safety regulations will ensure radiation exposure is
as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA). You will also experience consistent personal
and professional development through participation in medical/technical
education and research.
Qualifications
We’re seeking a strong leader with ARRT/CRT certification and:
* Valid CA CNMT licensure
* Valid CPR certification
* NMTCB or ARRT certification preferred
* One or more years of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist
