The company is looking for an HR Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department for a multi-state employer with over 400 employees.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law (particularly CA), strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a self-starter, and have the ability to motivate a team.
The HR Supervisor will report to the HR Manager.

Answering general human resources questions Administer various company human resources programs Advise managers and employees on human resources policies Respond to human resources inquiries Responsible for leading investigations surrounding employee complaints Responsible for reviewing disciplinary warnings company wide Carrying out various human resources projects Perform support level administrative and human resources tasks Assist with updating company human resources documentation Responsible for reporting HR key performance indicators to management Ensure that the HR department is working to minimize time to fill metrics Maintain human resource information system Supervise HR team members to ensure HR is providing necessary support to management Responsible for leading medical benefit open enrollment Maintain accurate and confidential human resources records Oversee leaves of absences to ensure company is compliance with FMLA/CFRA/ADA
