Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Product Engineer to join our team in the renewable energy sector. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our product development process, driving innovation and efficiency in our Meteorological equipment.

As a Senior Product Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead design and engineering efforts for upgrades, enhancements, and new products involving meteorological stations and equipment
  • Designing and developing Power System Enclosures, including panel layouts, wiring schematics, and single line diagrams.
  • Conducting detailed technical analyses of product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and continuous improvement.
  • Utilizing Inventor for 3D modeling and SCADA systems for supervisory control and data acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product engineering
  • Proficiency AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of Vault, Inventor and/or Bluebeam.
  • Extensive experience in designing Power System Enclosures, including panel layouts, wiring schematics, and single line diagrams.
  • Understanding of SCADA is a plus
  • PCB design
  • Renewable energy industry experience will be a plus, but not required.
