Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence

The Firm: Andersen is expanding its M&A services practice and looking for dynamic and experienced professionals who want to be part of a full-service transaction advisory offering with tremendous upside. We are seeking a highly energetic and experienced Senior Manager who can be instrumental in servicing clients and helping grow the Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence team. The M&A services practice advises private equity and corporate clients on tax, financial and operational issues related to complex transactions. Financial Due Diligence professionals at Andersen engage in quality of earnings and cash flows, working capital, and operational health analyses in addition to various transaction support services for buyers and sellers.

As a member of the M&A services team, a Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory / Financial Due Diligence will heavily contribute to engagements advising clients on financial and operational aspects of targets being acquired or sold. Senior Managers will be responsible for preparation and review of analysis and deliverables as well as managing Managers and Senior Associates within on our integrated M&A services approach.

Senior Manager candidates must possess strong technical knowledge of accounting and transactional issues and considerations. Candidates must possess and maintain strong written and oral presentation skills, be able to supervise and develop other professional staff, and effectively manage large projects with multiple work streams. Senior Managers in this role are also expected to engage in networking and business development activities inside and outside of Andersen. This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional leadership, analytical skills, and a proven track record in managing complex projects.

Lead and manage the execution of financial due diligence engagements for clients; Identify and help resolve complex transaction risks and issues; Prepare and review reports and related analysis and deliverables; Effectively communicate with target management teams and client personnel; Supervise, train, mentor and evaluate Managers and Seniors Associates; Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to market comprehensive tax strategies for prospective clients, etc.); and Receive formal training related to Transaction Advisory, on the job training, direct feedback from industry leaders, and the opportunity to pursue additional training through internal and external resources. Compensation and Benefits: Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in Los Angeles, the expected salary range for this role is $142,750 to $250,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale. The Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or similar, are highly desirable; At least 8 years relevant work experience with a Big Four or national consulting firm, including at least 5 years of financial due diligence experience; Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (i.e., GAAP, IFRS); Strong technical knowledge of complex accounting, financial and transactional issues; Proven leadership and strong organizational skills; Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; Exceptional interpersonal skills and a natural facilitator; Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; and Proficient use of technology including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI or other analytics software.
