Established Construction Management firm seeking highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for an Aviation Construction Project in the Los Angeles area -Transportation. Essential Job Duties: Responsibilities include participating in multi-disciplinary teams on aviation designs, plan production, and assisting project managers with managing project tasks, and budgets, and other duties as required Provide input on projects from design development stage through construction to ensure Designers and Contractors are meeting CEQA/NEPA and/or Entitlement requirements. Assists in coordinating with other LAWA divisions and regulatory agencies (Planning, FAA,TSA, AQMD, SHPO, EPA, etc.) as appropriate. Prepare messaging plan, notices, contingency planning and other tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline preferred. 5 years of relevant post education experience in engineering and prior aviation design experience Proficient knowledge of aviation engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues Working knowledge of relevant aviation construction a plus Effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
