About the Role:

Chief is seeking an accomplished Lead Product Manager to focus on our member-facing applications. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team, including engineering, design, data science, and research to build innovative and elegant features to support our member base. You’ll report to the Senior Director of Product – Experiences, and will be part of a team that builds the next generation of our platform for our 20,000+ membership base in the U.S. and U.K. 

 What You’ll Do:  

  • Establish the product strategy and vision for your product area. To start, you’ll own our flagship offering (“Core groups”), where members are matched with others like them to get peer support and advice. You’ll expand to other areas of product ownership as you ramp up and as the business grows. 
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, design, data science, and research teams to drive product vision, strategy, and roadmaps 
  • Address areas of ambiguity head on to identify opportunities, define problems, and gain buy-in 
  • Drive prioritization and focus to define product roadmaps and execute flawlessly 
  • Define and gain alignment on objectives, goals, and metrics 
  • Lead and motivate teams from conception through launch 
  • Communicate and present product opportunities and strategies to senior leadership 

 

What You’ve Done and Enjoy Doing:

  • Product management preferably in consumer products or related industry experience 
  • Experience defining product vision and strategy 
  • Experience building consensus across an organization 
  • A user-centric problem solver. You care deeply about people’s motivations and behaviors and can leverage user insights to develop innovative products & features that solve core needs 
  • A data-driven decision maker. You know how to leverage data to identify opportunities, paint a narrative, and make informed decisions 
  • An excellent leader. You display strong leadership, collaboration, and relationship building skills 
  • A crisp communicator. You can paint a clear narrative to efficiently and effectively communicate key messages tailored to your audience 
  • An entrepreneur at heart. You love to move quickly and value scrappiness

The base salary for this role is: $190k base
