KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, your time will be spent between 8 key functions:

BUSINESS & DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP – Oversee the production elements for all event productions. Supporting the Ops Director & Event Producers on driving success within the Production Department. Leading with the production technical skills required for S&C projects.

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT GROWTH – Build & grow a profitable production department, focusing on NBD & internal executional processes including guidance on branding, templates, SOP’s & activation guides for high level execution. You will be responsible target setting, KPI’s, revenue, overheads & overall net profit.

FABRICATION – Work with our design resources to ensure fabrication projects are setup for success. This includes but is not limited to – fabrication, shipping, proposed creative, narratives & execution plans. 

FESTIVALS & EVENTS – BRAND ACTIVATIONS – Grow current scope for new & existing clients for festival & event production. Ensure all technical production elements for brand activations have guidance & executional plans set for success.

COMMUNICATIONS – Ensure excellent communications both internally & externally. Updating all key working documents for these 8 key functions including but not limited to creative decks, event workbooks, timelines, financial roll ups, calendars, databases, SOP’s, activation guides, templates & key communication documents.

TEAM CULTURE – Build an inspiring, inclusive & unified team culture within Sweet&Chilli – PRODUCTION. This includes planning with our culture manager for S&C team activities ranging from fitness & experiences, department workflow, team celebrations & rewards.

EXPERIENTIAL CONCEPTING – Working with the Production/LT/ Director/s on NBD concepts to present to new clients. This will have the support of our S&C STUDIO for creative & design.

FINANCIAL – Responsible for gross profit targets being achieved on all projects managed.

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, G drive, Dropbox, external online platforms)

• Proficient understanding of sketch up &/or AutoCAD for production drawings & event planning

• Proficient reporting skills & management of reporting scenarios

• Strong time management skills with proven ability to manage several projects at once

• Ability to work outside of standard work hours when urgent & time sensitive attention is required

• Extremely sociable and strong drive to lift those around you to get the best work ethos from surrounding individuals

• Strong email communications with both client & S&C internally, ensuring responses are met promptly

• Ability to prioritize tasks & ensure deliverables are met accordingly
